Common questions

How do I sync between my iPhone and iPad?

Sign in with Apple in Settings. Your name, conversations, streak, and reading position will appear on every device signed in with the same Apple ID.

How do I delete my account?

Open Bayit → Settings → Delete Account. This is permanent — your profile, chat history, memory, streak, and reading data are removed. Apple subscriptions, if any, must be cancelled separately in your Apple ID settings.

Can I trust Bayit's answers?

We design Bayit to quote sources directly — pasuk and chapter, Rashi or Ramban, the Rambam, etc. — so you can verify every claim in Sefaria. That said, Bayit is an AI assistant and can make mistakes. For halachic questions of practical consequence, please ask a Rav. For medical, legal, or mental-health questions, please consult a qualified professional.

I found a bug.

Send us a quick description and, if possible, a screenshot. If you can include your device model and iOS version, even better. We'll usually have a fix in the next release.

I have a feature idea.

We love these. Email us — many of the features in Bayit today came from users who took two minutes to share an idea.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open the iOS Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Bayit → Cancel. Uninstalling the Bayit app alone does not cancel a subscription.
